That's right, you're not suffering from a strangely specific hallucination, I, famed twitter dot com artist and America's sweetheart Giga T. Lithic have gone and made myself one of these newfangled Newgrounds pages. For the same reason as many of my ilk, that tumblr sucks and is now bad for being an art gallery, I am migrating my portfolio over here. And without a news post my page looked kind of empty I guess so here we are. Shazbot.

Not really newfangled. It's been around since before twitter, facebook, or even myspace. Welcome aboard!
Sometimes it's good to have just an art gallery page without all other clutter. Twitter seems to work for that. People can follow little news and announcements there, and get directed somewhere else (Pixiv? Newgrounds? HF/FA?) to properly browse the art.
Newgrounds isn't new for me. I pop in and follow the yearly Ludum Dare (take one word or sentence and make a game of it in a weekend). I haven't seen Armourgames or Kongregate host that sort of indie games yet. The arts section has ticked on in the background. A few NSFW artists have been around here for a while, usually those who work with animation as well.
Anything odd or unusual about Newgrounds that you have learned or still try to figure out? The scouting system, one-picture posts and the user collective voting are things that come to my mind.
